Our Process

From first call to finished site.

Five steps. No fine print. No surprise charges. This is how we run every stump grinding job — from a single residential stump to a hundred-stump ranch.

Operator running a stump grinder
  1. Step 01
    Free Estimate

You call, text, or fill out the form. We ask a few questions — how many stumps, roughly what size, where they are. If it's a simple job we can often quote from photos; for anything unusual we come out for a free on-site look.

  2. Step 02
    Walk the Property

We identify every stump, measure diameters, note species and root flare, check for utilities and irrigation, and confirm access for the machine. You get a written estimate that spells out exactly what's included.

  3. Step 03
    Professional Grinding

The right equipment shows up for your specific job. Every stump ground below grade — 6–12" by default, deeper on request. Careful work around fences, foundations, and neighboring trees.

  4. Step 04
    Cleanup

Chips are raked into a neat mound over the hole — they compost into excellent mulch. Surrounding turf is cleaned up. The site looks like we were never there, minus the stump.

  5. Step 05
    Ready to Use

The ground is ready for sod, seed, mulch, a new tree, a fence post, or a patio. We tell you what to expect over the next few months as chips break down, and how to backfill if you want grass right away.
